Home buyers often use a model as the foundation for further customization for their private residences. Others know immediately they must purchase the model, said George Mato, vice president of sales for Miromar Realty.

“The couple who bought a fully furnished Golf Villa model in Villa d’Este knew immediately this was the home for them,” Mato said. “The wife loved the floorplan and everything about the interior design; no redecorating or building from the ground up. They were able to move right in.”

The seven models under construction include the Del Fina, a Grand Estate Home featuring sweeping mile-long water views in the new Bergamo neighborhood, and, in Sardinia, two of only eight planned Beach Homes with sunrise and sunset vistas across the water. Both intimate enclaves offer boat docks.

“Our builders have really imagined incredible scenarios for these newest model homes,” said Mato. “Seagate Development and Gulfshore Homes created beautiful three-story Beach Homes specifically for Sardinia. These models have three floors, elevators, large master suites, elevated pools and are right on the beach. They will be designer furnished.”

Both builders recently topped off their homes. Seagate’s six-bedroom, eight-bathroom Sabbia model offers 6,227 square feet under air and 9,636 total square feet and is scheduled for completion in October. Gulfshore’s Casa Mare, a model that sold shortly after construction began, has a planned December completion and a leaseback for viewing through December 2019.

Although buildable home sites in Cortona have sold out, there are four final buying opportunities in one of Miromar Lakes’ newest neighborhoods – three designer-furnished models and one unfurnished inventory home. Harbourside Custom Homes recently completed its fully designed three-bedroom, four-bathroom Villa Adriana II and plans to build an inventory home which allows buyers to select certain finishes and add a level of customization to reflect their personal tastes, Mato said.

Arthur Rutenberg’s designer-furnished Sedona II model in Cortona will open in May. The third available model is the recently started Marabella II being built by Fox Custom Homes. Plans for Cortona include shared boat docks.

Two finished model homes by Randall Mitchell Custom Homes are also available for immediate purchase: The five-bedroom, seven-bathroom Hemingway is the final Grand Estate Home in Sorrento and offers 6,136 square feet under air, over 9,400 total square feet and a private boat dock. The Highlands, one of only 12 maintenance-free Golf Villas situated next to the Miromar Lakes Golf Clubhouse in Villa d’Este, features four bedrooms, five bathrooms, 3,665 square feet under air and 5,267 total square feet.
