Estero, FL (March 21, 2016) – Do you appreciate the art of photography? Are you captivated by Southwest Florida’s abundance of untapped nature settings and coastal backdrops?

Miromar Design Center invites you to visit the Southwest Florida Photography Show, presented by Aldo Castillo of Aldo Castillo Gallery and sponsored by Portfolio Magazine. Enjoy a variety of color and black and white prints celebrating Florida’s natural beauty, from vivid tropical landscapes to dynamic wildlife portraits. The free exhibition, which has been extended through Saturday, April 30 due to its positive reception, features the work of over 25 photographers and is open for viewing at Miromar Design Center Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Participating photographers include Clyde Butcher, Connie Bransilver, John Brady, Chad Anderson, Tony Arruza, Harry De Zitter, Will Dickey, Jim Freeman, Ryan Gamma, Dennis Goodman, Luke Greer, David Liam Kyle, Richard Auger, Tim Bath, Brian Call, Dick Cunningham, Alan Maltz, Gareth Rockliffe, Jay Staton, Matt Stock, Thomas Styczynski, John Thawley, Doug Thompson, Andrew Vernon, and Carlton Ward.

Aldo Castillo, a native of Nicaragua, established The Aldo Castillo Gallery in Chicago in 1993 with a focus on international art, including painting, photography, sculpture and decorative arts. In 2011 he relocated to Miromar Design Center, where he now manages seven art galleries.

Portfolio Magazine is a lifestyle publication dedicated to the arts, architecture and fine design. The prints showcased in the Southwest Florida Photography Show also appeared in the magazine’s February edition.
